Our truck is a custom built RV, based on a Mercedes Light Truck 917AF.
It’s weight is about 8.5 t and it has a 6 liter engine with 170 hp. The dimensions are 6,90m length, 3,30m hight and 2,40m width. The cabin has about 9 sqm and it comfortable equipped with gas kitchen, fridge, queen bed, sitting area and shower. Good enough for 2 people.
The truck itself is a permanent 4x4, with about 550 NM. It is equipped with 2 solar panels, 80W each and 4 batteries 100 Ah each. The capacity for the Diesel is 600 l in 2 tanks, which gives us a range of about 2.400km. The average mileage is 22l/100km or 10miles/gl.
It also carries two tanks of water with a total of 300 liters. On the back there is a motorbike, a KTM 620 Adventure, which gives us further mobility.
