@all ich bin auf die suche nach einem sankey wide track trailer mit papiere. I'm sorry writing in German takes to long <img src="/forum_php/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> so, where do i buy one here in germany? and do i get a tüv on a NATO towbar, or do they come with a "normal" towbar here?

Sankeys can be bought for high sums from dealers in Germany. Otherwise the MOD sometimes sells wide-tracks trough the german disposal service agency VEBEG, they have a website www.vebeg.de. Check the website from time to time for trailer auctions. An average sankey costs about 180 to 230 Euros excl. VAT - better idea would be to buy one in GB and bring it to Germany. NATO towbar is not that problem - some TÜVs make problems but there might be some guys near to you that have already brought a Sankey through the TÜV including the NATO pintle on their Landrover. TÜV for a wide track - german vehicle papers picking up a Sankey from the MOD in Germany

What you need is a certificate of origin. Maybe you can get it somewhere in England - or -from someone you bought it from. Problem is, trailers are treated as vehicles in Germany. They have a individual registration. But apart of that - it possible to get it "tüved".

200 for the MK-III - the one with the disc brakes 80 for a wide-track is a good price - if you find another good one I´ll take it. Could be worth visiting my aunt in London...
