Viermalvier.de, das Geländewagenportal Foren Marken talk Mercedes reifen on Wolf? And snorkel?

I wonder witch reifen German Bundeswehr use on the G Wolf model. Its look like Continental LM90 225/75 R16 but Im not sure. Wonder if its a good tire in mud/snow and forest and if its make lot of noise driving on the autobahn? Next qustion, is it possible to use a original G snorkel on right side together with an original antenn in model 460/461? Sorry but my German is not so good <img src="http://www.viermalvier.de/forum_php/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> but the answers could be in German,no problem <img src="http://www.viermalvier.de/forum_php/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />.

Hi, concerning the tires you are right. The mechanic 460 aerial is mounted on the B pillar and therefore will not cause any problems with the snorkel. The automatic aerial is mounted nearly at the same place as the bracket for the snorkel. I think it will not match. Best regards Marcus

those Continental tires cause the same noise on the Autobahn as all real offroad-tires.
My personal experience with them is that they're not the best tires off road. I guess a common MT (i.e. BF Goodrich, Bridgestone etc.) would be the better choice.
And on snow (except new, deep snow) MT tires are usually a bad choice due to their hard rubber. Nothing will beat a real winter tire, even on a 4x4.
