I am making a winch bumper for my Bremach, maybe you will be interested. It is not finished. The mount is 8mm plate steel and the chassis attachments are 10mm steel. Here are some photos.

That is nicely made, good workmanship.
But why make it with that heavy gauge steel?
The frame you are attaching it has only 3mm walls.

the welding forum said my design needed heavier metal, becuse the winch is quite powerful.
