Today I received the sad news that the sodbury sortout at Newbury has been
cancelled!
A letter was sent by Jim Wilkie which stated that the 2008 sortouts at
Newbury would not be taking place, this is the Land rover sortouts along
with the vintage sortouts. I believe that this letter has been sent to
everyone on the sorotut mailing list, I have spoken to a couple of people
that as yet haven't received theirs but I am sure they will be getting them
in due course. It also said to mention that it has been cancelled to anyone
that goes so as people wont have a wasted journey.

www.sortout.comIt sounds like smaller more localised sortouts will be being arranged so
hopefully this will soften the blow.
Over the years the Sortout has grown into an event attended by people from
all over the world. Jim and his team have done a wonderful job of helping
enthusiasts find those illusive parts and so I for one would like to thank
him for the hard work put in, in the past, to organise such a succesful
event, I have found plenty of hard to find parts there, which with out the
sortouts I never would have.
