Jo, oder so was hier: The latest model to be added to this range is the Traka, which is based on the 100 inch wheelbase Range Rover Classic. These are now readily available with a solid chassis, rotting bodies and serviceable running gear for under £1000. The Traka has been designed for serious off-road performance with its lightweight body, minimum overhangs, massive 33 x 12.50 x 15 tyres, long travel coil springs giving superb ride and axle articulation, powerful lightweight Rover V8 with four wheel drive, low ratio box, centre diff-lock coupled with loads of ground clearance makes a recipe for outstanding off-road ability. With the Traka’s macho good looks and power it is great fun on the road too. The Traka features a soft top, lift off doors and four seats to make a practical vehicle as well as being more than capable for towing your boat, caravan or horsebox etc.
