But wait there is more news to pass along. (2006) IESA bought MWM Motores of South America (No I did not spell it wrong) The new company is called MWM International Motores of South America. We have 2 other engines to offer for repowering vehicles.
They build a 2.8 4 cylinder diesel found in the Nissan Xterra in South America and they build a 4.2 inline 6 that is 185 HP and 366 FT LB of torque at 1600 RPM.This is found in the Ford F-250 of South America These will hook up to a ZF transmission used in the early 90's Ford trucks. They have a B10 rating of 240,000 miles.
As you can tell this is not of interest to Land Rover purist.
We can supply an extensive spare parts collection at time of purchase with all engines. This keeps the cost of owning one of these engines down, and keeps you rolling.

The size of the engine is as follows
Dry weight 280 KG that is 616 LB
Length over flywheel 885 MM
Width 625 MM
Height 747 MM

The power to weight ratio is very good with 185 HP and 366 Ft lb of torque at 1600 RPM. The engine spins up to 3400 RPM.
