Hello Iveco drivers !
Well , we are back home from a pleasant trip on our truck “Stóribrjótur” We had all kind of weather, sun, rain, and sandstorm in the desert behind glacier Vatnajökull. On the last day of the journey we came upon a place Þjórsárver in the South of Iceland where “Icelandrover” gathering was held, Landrover fans from Iceland, Germany, Britain, France, etc had a nice weekend together with theyr cars. ----------------------------------------------------------- The truck was doing it quite well in the journey, exept when we were passing a very high mountain pass, then engine got very hot. I have a question for you:
What is the normal engine temperature of your truck ?
Does your engine cool down belowe 80°c when you are driving down hill ?
Do you know what is the ideal engine temperature for the Iveco engine ?
We have travelled a lot on our truck and the only problem we have had so far ( 7-9-13 ) is over-heating of the engine in steep and long hills, what do you think is the reason, and can you give me an advice how to cure this ?
Hope to hear from you !
With the best regards from Borgarnes Ísland ! Þorleifur.
