Hello Iceland travellers ! [Bah..Pfui..] happens sometimes when travelling offroad. Last weekend 3 jeeps were driving over glacier Hofsjökull. One of the vehicles fell down in a deep crevasse.Two helecopters and rescuforces were sent up on the glacier, and after hours of searching the car was found 20-30 meters down.The rescue was very tough, but at the end they managed to get the 2 men up, one badly injured and the other dead. The glaciers can be very dangerous !!!! Regards !
