You need to be very careful using a KERR. I have used car sized ones a lot in the Middle East when I lived there. I believe they are safer than Snatch Straps as they are more forgiving to the vehicles fixing points as they stretch more smoothly and recover for reuse immediately (snatch straps should be left for many hours to recover after each use, which no one does!). However, you do need to malk sure you don't put too much energy into them. The one I am using is made by Marlow ropes in the UK and is rated for vehicles up to 6,500 kg (my truck is 5,900 kg). They do make them in all sizes for vehicles up to about 120,000 kg!
