Irgendwo hab ich vor einiger Zeit sinngemäss gelesen, „Spanien sei landschaftlich ein kleines Abbild der USA“, und da ist schon was dran. Wir sind ja am liebsten in den Badlands unterwegs, aber Sierra Nevada oder Asturien sind ja nochmal anders. Das "Empty Spain" rund um Teruel/Saragossa kann es hinsichtlich der Einwohner pro Quadratkilometer angeblich tatsächlich mit Lappland oder Sibirien aufnehmen.
